Our mighty 84 mother members along with our fabulous associate jewels hope that you enjoy learning about our chapter’s activities and community involvement during your virtual visit. Aligned with the aims and objectives of our national organization, we are focused on the well-being and development of our children. We believe that programming is at the heart of what we do as a chapter. Promoting the development of our children is central to our purpose and to that end, we have continually developed activities that focused on five major areas: civic responsibility, cultural development, educational awareness, social responsibility, healthy living, and acceptability. One of our chartering principles was promoting the development of the children. We are committed to ensuring that all children have the same opportunities in life. ![]() We are an organization of mothers who believe that all children can become leaders with the right nurturing, education, training, and experiences. Established in 1984, our chapter has been serving and bettering the lives of the children throughout Montgomery County with service projects and fundraising. On behalf of our amazing chapter, it is my sincere honor and privilege to welcome you to our chapter’s website. Greetings from the Mighty Montgomery County, PA Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.! We remain an award-winning chapter, as we have consistently been nationally recognized for our Programming Handbook. Our children leading in our annual ecumenical service during our Love and Happiness Ski weekend as our mothers lead “His Crew” ministry. is an organization of mothers dedicated to raising the next generation of African American leaders while enhancing the lives. This is evident in our teens becoming engaged and winning awards at teen conference thanks to our mother teen advisors. I am proud to call our mothers – friend and family- for wherever I look they are in the news, serving on panels and inspiring other mothers and children to excel and achieve. A jack-and-jill bathroom is a bathroom shared between two bedrooms, usually meant to be shared by two siblings. An exclusive club or society for instance, might not desire 'any old Jack and Jill' as part of its membership. Our mother members continue to not only support the chapter they also contribute greatly to the community around us. The phrase 'Jack and Jill' is sometimes used to refer to a generic man and woman. Our teens supported and ran a successful campaign as we were able to congratulate Pierce Hodges as Eastern Regional Teen Treasurer. Our chapter has certainly risen to the call! Our teens were recognized for their philanthropic endeavors as well as their tremendous leadership skills placing in all competitions as the Eastern Regional Teen Conference. Our program thrusts are centered on EDUCATION, CULTURAL, CIVIC, SOCIAL/RECREATIONAL, and HEALTH. Our Chapter POWER TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE: WE CAN DO MORE!
